But what happens when you become too overworked and your mental health suffers? This snap session will discuss what having a breaking point can look like, and the importance of prioritizing mental health to maintain balance in your work and personal life. Strategies, such as learning how to say no to commitments and busting the taboo stigma of not discussing your own mental health at work by allowing your leader and colleagues to help you, will be covered. You will also gain tools to combat internal stigmatized criticism of being a woman, especially a woman of color, working in a male-dominated field, and explore the common challenges of comparing oneself to others and the fear of letting down those around you.
