Aerospace & Defense contractors have spent years moving from waterfall (sequential) development to using Agile and DevSecOps methodologies. To streamline development and evolve capabilities quicker, Agile has been the software development methodology for decades, taking lessons learned from the commercial industry. Unfortunately, when it comes to System-level integration and test, execution often reverts to a waterfall process. As customers look to test and deploy capabilities into operations more quickly, Agile test methodologies can be utilized. This Tech Talk will present a background on Agile process with a focus on methods and lesson learned of applying Agile to the System Sell-off process.
