Tour Nicor Gas’ Technical Training Center and Gas Town where you will see firsthand how Nicor Gas provides practical hands-on experience to their field mechanics and technicians. You will visit the classrooms and labs containing natural gas appliances to simulate real-life residential and commercial customer environments. The classrooms and labs allow employees to gain hands-on experience with various installation and repair methods and techniques. In addition, the outdoor facility has residential dwellings containing gas appliances that reflect actual field conditions. Here, employees participate in above and below ground practical demonstrations.
