Chantal, a BASc holder in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa, is a seasoned software engineer and current Senior Product Owner for Motorola Solutions' cloud emergency call handling solution. Her unique career journey, spanning multiple countries and disciplines, mirrors the limitless potential she advocates for all children, particularly daughters. Inspired by her own upbringing, where she was encouraged to dream big and tackle tasks typically associated with gender roles, she promotes a similar environment for her daughters. Her leadership roles, including heading the MSI Women of Canada business council, further demonstrate her commitment to challenging norms. With personal experience in addressing gender roles and her daughters' successful pursuits in STEM, Chantal offers valuable insights on parental influence in shaping a world free from traditional boundaries. This session is an opportunity to learn from her journey, as she shares strategies to foster equality and boundless potential in children.
