Tricia Walker is the Global Operations Quality Director in Mergers and Acquisitions for Medtronic, a global healthcare technology leader that is 'engineering the extraordinary' and supplying life-transforming healthcare technology that improves people’s lives - helping them reclaim the simple moments they cherish. In this role, she leads an organization dedicated to ensuring that acquired entities are flawlessly integrated within Medtronic’s supplier controls and operations quality processes. The center of excellence Tricia has developed consists of professionals who assess the risk of targeted entities, documented through a post-acquisition assessment. Tricia holds BS and MS degrees in biomedical engineering from Iowa State and the University of Iowa. She has been a Society of Women Engineers leader for over 25 years holding numerous collegiate, section, legacy region and Society positions. In her spare time she enjoys travel, time with family and friends, triathlons and making a difference in her community.
