Gerken is the GTF Programs Configuration Manager at Pratt & Whitney, a division of Raytheon Technologies (RTX), where she oversees the team maintaining accurate engine build records and implementing part number changes for all global customers. Previously, she has held numerous positions supporting global company operations for engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing. Gerken is also a SWE Fellow and was FY18 President of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), leading the 40,000-member international organization which encourages more women to enter and stay in engineering fields. Additionally, she serves on the board of the Girl Scouts of CT, the University of New Haven ISE Industry Advisory Board and the Western New England University Engineering Advisory Board. Gerken holds a BS in industrial and management engineering and an MBA in technology development, both from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
