Karin Bozak is the supervisor of the Aeronautics and Ground-Based Systems Branch at the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Her 15-year NASA career uniquely includes space power system technology development, spaceflight mission and system analysis, and spaceflight project management. With this breadth of experience, she has collaborated with industry and international partners on the Orion Program and Gateway Program to enable NASA’s bold objective to land the first woman on the moon. In her current position, Ms. Bozak supervises a group of systems engineers who are developing and demonstrating innovative sustainable aviation technologies to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions from the U.S. aviation sector by 2050. In her free time, Ms. Bozak enjoys reading, travelling, and inspiring the next generation of engineers through STEM education and outreach events.
