Aditi Kumar has been working as a Senior Systems Integration Engineer at Johnson & Johnson MedTech for over three years. She has supported the development of the Ottava surgical robotic system. She completed her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology and her M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Mechatronics at Stanford University. She has had internship experience at Tesla (Energy Products), Cummins (Emission Solutions) and Siemens Healthineers. For two years, she was an undergraduate research assistant in the Precision Biosystems Laboratory at Georgia Tech where she contributed to the development of a pick-and-place robot for serial section Transmission Electron Microscopy of neural tissue. Subsequently, she was a graduate research assistant at the Radiological Sciences Laboratory at Stanford where she worked on a mechatronic device for actuating a soft robotic actuator for heart failure patients. She has been a co-author on two journal papers.
