LeSi (she/her) Qu was diagnosed with an invisible disability in 2019. During college, she was able to get support through her school’s student accessibility support center with the help of a licensed therapist. Her disabilityinfluences many parts of her life.. Over the years, she has developed skills and techniques to better manage her disability. LeSi currently works as a commercial airplane design engineer. She has been a SWE member for 9 years and held a variety of leadership roles. She was the Lead of the DEIB Affinity Groups and founding member of the Affinity Group Committee in 2022. Most recently, she chaired the Curriculum Committee. She is also a member of the SWE DisAbility Inclusion Affinity Group and has been involved with mental health advocacy groups.
