Dr. Jessica Kaufman (she/her/hers) is a chemical engineer and biomedical engineer who has spent 16 years in higher education. She is the counselor for the Endicott College SWE affiliate program and member of SWE-Boston chapter. Jessica is currently Associate Dean of Science and Technology at Endicott College and Chair of Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering. She teaches courses undergraduate courses in biotechnology, bioengineering, and engineering and graduate courses in bioinformatics. She is excited to particpate in two panels at WE24 to share how SWE events at the college and in the professional chapter have helped her feel motivated to promote more access to STEM for all students and inexpensive projects for engaging undergraduate research.
