Chantel Goutcher is General Manager of Service Design for CSX. In this role, she oversees the company’s operating plan for all merchandise, automotive, intermodal and bulk business; as well as car scheduling and interline services.She has established herself as a dynamic leader during her three decades with CSX, previously serving as Senior Director of Operations Integration, responsible for various operational and service initiatives across CSX's 3 operational departments.
Goutcher has successfully served in multiple leadership roles throughout her CSX career, including stints as Assistant Chief Engineer overseeing both engineering operations, including engineering technology. Her contributions have helped improve rail operations and customer service in multiple ways, often through the strategic use of advanced information technology and data analytics.
Goutcher holds a bachelor’s degree in transportation and distribution management from Syracuse University and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Florida.
