Michelle Sterrett is an engineer currently residing in the Chicago Suburbs who spent the last 8 years working in the agriculture and mining sectors. Sterrett recently spent 3 years as a Vehicle Architect for CNH Industrial, responsible for the Cash Crop High Horsepower Tractor platform. She worked daily with the engineering teams to ensure that the subcomponents of each tractor model came together without issue. Prior to that, she spent 4 years designing hydraulic components and integrating them into large scale machines to be used in the farm and the mine. Sterrett has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
In her spare time, she trained in flying trapeze at the Trapeze School New York and learned invaluable lessons.
This will be Sterrett’s 5th SWE National Conference. She is currently taking time off from the corporate world to focus on health, family, and her adorable baby girl.
