Amy Penner

Amy Penner is the Director of Operational Excellence and Chief of Staff to the Vice President of R&D at PepsiCo North America. She also serves as the Co-Sponsor for PepsiCo’s Plano SWE Chapter. Based in Dallas, Texas, Amy has a rich background of over a decade working internationally. She has held key roles in R&D, Manufacturing, and Procurement across England, Singapore, and Amsterdam.

With a 16-year tenure in the food industry, Amy’s career includes significant contributions at PepsiCo, Kraft Foods, and Mondelez International. She holds both a BS and MS in Food Engineering from Purdue University, where her graduate research focused on developing food technology for NASA’s Mars Mission. Additionally, she earned an MBA from Oxford Brookes University. Amy is an accomplished professional with six patents and one publication to her name.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys cooking, traveling, church activities, and serving on the Dallas Symphony Young Professionals Board.
