Anna Sparks, P.E., CFM has been involved with SWE for fifteen years, is a Life Member, and currently serves as Program Development Grants (PDG) Committee Chair. Anna's SWE service also includes Pike's Peak Section President, two years as Region i Treasurer, three years as Senator, and then as Finance Committee Chair. After graduation from Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Anna obtained a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Civil Engineering with depth in Environmental Engineering and Water Resources, and a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification. Anna works at the City of Brighton in Colorado as the Utilities Engineering Manager overseeing Capital Improvement Projects, including federal grant funding, and professional development with various topics in engineering, water resources, environmental and stormwater. Anna continues to search for grant opportunities and encourages SWE members to create professional development and SWE leader programs, and apply for Program Development Grants.
