Misty Tomlin is an Industrial Engineering Specialist at Ford Motor Company, where she has been making impactful contributions for the past year. She holds an Industrial Engineering degree from Kettering University, where she gained valuable experience through co-op positions at multiple Ford supplier companies, amassing over 3.5 years of hands-on experience in her field.

Misty’s dedication to the engineering community is evident through her active involvement with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). She served as the Vice President of her SWE chapter for five consecutive years, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to advancing women in engineering. Her outstanding contributions were recognized with the SWE FY23 WE Local Guiding Star award. In addition to her role at Ford, she has also become one of the social co-leads for Ford SWE in her last year, further showcasing her commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging community.
