Ann Leger is the Principal Flow Assurance Engineer for ExxonMobil, a global energy company. She is an innovator in the central technical organization supporting global Upstream business units and world-class projects for ExxonMobil. After completing her B.S. and M.S. degrees at Louisiana State University, she went on to earn her Ph.D. at University of Michigan with all degrees in Mechanical Engineering. Leger joined ExxonMobil and spent the first 12 years of her 27-year career in R&D working on novel production technologies. She then moved to a role as U.S. Upstream Pipeline Integrity Team Lead overseeing a portfolio of 6000 large and small pipelines. Leger has been in her current role for 8 years where she advises global teams on design and operations of complex fluid flow interactions for upstream production, carbon capture and storage, and lithium projects.
