Associate Director

Erin Carll, Ph.D., is the associate director at the University of Washington’s (UW) Center for Evaluation & Research for STEM Equity (CERSE). In this role, she evaluates programs that aim to advance equity in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields and conducts related research. Carll is also a member-at-large on the board of directors for the Women in Engineering ProActive Network and a member of the Society of Women Engineers Research Advisory Council. Before joining UW, she was the program coordinator for an international public interest law fellowship program and worked in academic conference administration. Carll has a PhD and MA in sociology, an MA and BA in Russian and Eastern European area studies, a BA in political science, and an AA in liberal arts and sciences.
