Tamara received her BS and MS in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Georgia Tech. After being selected for an Intel minority scholarship, Tamara began her 25-year career with her dream company – Intel! She has held various positions from Technical Marketing, Component Design Engineering, leading her to her current position as an SOC Design Engineering Manager in DEG. In this role she leads cross-functional teams to deliver chip designs with applications in 5G network base stations, autonomous breaking systems, and cloud computing. Tamara also has a passion for improving tech industry diversity by delivering Tech Talks at various college recruiting events as the Fort Collins Site Manager. Tamara Co-Chairs an employee resource group called the Black Network of Executive Women, creating an inclusive community for black women across Intel. Recently, Tamara moved near her hometown of Gary, IN to be closer to her parents. Her team and two children are in Colorado where she gains most of her frequent flyer miles.
