In this session, we will explore how microgrids play an crucial role in providing sustainable and resilient power. Learn how one non-profit is using their award-winning mobile solar-powered microgrids to provide disaster relief to communities impacted by hurricanes and wildfires across the U.S. On the other side of the Atlantic, we will examine the community engagement models in Kenya that enable clean and reliable electricity for mothers giving birth. In Guatemala, we learn how to engage young professionals to expand microgrid technology for Central American mothers. Together, we will identify how each of us can take part in building strong, resilient, and sustainable communities.
