Being a technical leader is not restricted to the title one holds in the organization. This talk caters to individual contributors (IC), to learn how to create an impact and be a leader by being influential in their space. Being a leader as an IC is an amalgamation of being dependable, cautiously optimistic, and a visionary.
As part of this session, I will share my journey of growing in the cloud domain, transitioning roles and standing myself up as a leader across these roles. While taking up various roles, I have taken risks and chartered uneven terrain; the lesson however reverberated: It is vital to aim to punch above your weight, despite imposter syndrome and the thought of "this is not my place".
