Vice President of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion FIRST
In this session, discover FIRST®, a global robotics community for all. FIRST has partnered with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) since 2008 to move the needle forward in equity, diversity, and inclusion (ED&I) in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). Attendees in this session will learn about FIRST programs, its mission, and ED&I strategy. Attendees will uncover new findings from FIRST’s longitudinal study, with an emphasis on outcomes for girls and women in STEM. Attendees will have the opportunity to become more involved in supporting a global STEM community that is excited about connecting with SWE members to build a better world.
